Mud Pies has been created to capture the magic of the outdoors and to help your child – and you – learn more about nature.
As mighty oaks from tiny acorns grow we are initially focussing on engaging with young children. Led by knowledgeable and enthusiastic tutors, our Mud Pies sessions aim to help 2 to 5 year olds find out and understand more about their natural environment with a series of hands-on, fun activities – including, of course, making mud pies.
Mud Pies, which take place in easily accessible woodland in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, encourage youngsters to get outside, get active and get switched on to the wonders all around them.
They also provide a perfect setting for you and your child to spend quality time together, which will benefit you both.
Our ethos reflects current national initiatives encouraging young people to get involved in more physical and outdoor activity. The sessions are also a gentle introduction to concepts children will go on to explore at nursery and school.

Mud Pies is delighted to have won the business category of the Aberdeen EcoCity Awards on 20 June 2010 at the Aberdeen Highland Games. Thanks to all families who have joined in since October 2009 and made Mud Pies such a success!
